* The requirements for EOW unlimited acceptance (A-III/1) is (a) a NQF Level 6 Qualification or (b) proof of registration for study with a technical college towards obtaining your NQF Level 6 Qualification (mechanical subjects), and a valid eyesight test

* The requirements for Chief Engineer unlimited acceptance is (a) an EOW Certificate of Competency or (b) a NQF Level 6 Qualification and completion of the A-III/1 level maritime study program
